Asilomar Dune Walk
Walk through Asilomar State Park forest, Dunes, and Shoreline
Trail just a block away from Hotel. Asilomar today has one
of the last remaining groves of native Monterey Pine trees
and a showcase restoration of Coastal Dune Habitats. Home
for many rare and endangered plants and animals: Menzies'
wallflower, Tidestrom's lupine, Coast buckwheat, California
legless lizard, Smith's Blue butterfly, Burrowing owl, Red
fox,Black-tail Deer, Sea Otters, Birds, Bugs, Dune dynamics
and more. Main buildings by the famous architect Julia Morgan,
designer of over 800 structures, including Hearst Castle.

Point Piņos Lighthouse
The oldest active lighthouse on the West Coast is located
on the edge of a golf course in Pacific Grove. Deer run
amiably around the greens of the Pacific Grove Municipal
Golf Course, which sides to the Point Pinos Lighthouse,
so golfers are accustomed to watching for moving objects
which include tourists hoping for an up close view of the
historic building from the 16th hole tee off.
Scenic Drive
A scenic tour of the dramatic coastline provides views of
Lover's Point, Point Pinos, Crespi Pond and the natural
dunesland at Asilomar. You will be enchanted by the abundance
of natural wonders such as the plentiful Pacific Blacktail
Deer, Seals, Sea Lions, Sea Otters, Pelicans and Gulls.
Monterey Bay Aquarium
The Monterey Bay Aquarium is home to playful sea otters,
blackfooted penguins, mesmerizing jellies, and several species
of shark, including the only oceanic whitetip on display
in the world.
Fisherman Wharf
Monterey Fisherman's Wharf plays host to visitors seeking
a taste of history and the finest fresh seafood dinners
and locals shopping for fresh bounties from the sea. One
of the many ways the old blends with the new is with Whale
Watching and fishing trips. Monterey is world-famous for
its fine dining, and some of Monterey's best restaurants
are found on the Wharf.
Monarch Grove Sanctuary
Local Monarch Butterflies give Pacific Grove the name 'Butterfly
Town USA.' They are fiercely protected by local citizens
and there are even special 'butterfly docents.' Monarch
Butterflies usually arrive in Pacific Grove in October and
stay until March.More than 20,000 butterflies can be seen
clustering in the Monarch Grove Sanctuary, on Ridge Road
intersecting Lighthouse Avenue
Laguna Seca
Laguna Seca is one of the premiere racetracks hosts grand
prix, motorcycle and historic auto races. Racing enthusiasts
can enjoy at least one major race each month during the
summer.
Pebble Beach Golf Course
Montery Peninsula is recognized as Golf Capital of the World
with 17 golf courses on the Peninsula, and more than 20
in Monterey County, including the world-renowned Pebble
Beach Course.AT&T National Pro-Am Golf Tournament is
held at Pebble Beach.
